Wushu, a sport originating in China during the rise of communism, is a club sport here at the University of Oregon that holds practices on a weekly basis and competes in yearly competitions. Despite the sport’s lack of awareness within the student body, club members encourage anyone with an open-minded and hardworking attitude to come check out this unique form of martial arts.
