Men’s basketball team stuck in Salt Lake City, plans to leave for Colorado tomorrow

A driving snowstorm in Denver has grounded the Oregon men’s basketball team in Salt Lake City until at least tomorrow morning, according to The Oregonian. The Ducks were scheduled to depart for Colorado earlier today, but the weather in Denver prompted numerous flight cancellations, including their own. For the time being, Oregon is scheduled to fly out at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning and arrive in time to play against Colorado at 6 p.m.

The game could presumably be moved to Sunday if necessary, and an Oregon men’s tennis match in Denver scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday has already been cancelled.

We’ll keep you posted on any further developments.
