This is so weak. It seems like you could have done a better job of not sounding like a Ugg wearing sorority girl when you wrote this. I noticed a worker installing new Duct tape across the carpets throughout the slummified Knight library today. There is over 200 million in deferred maintenance around campus……a result of the chronic sports distractions for UO. I noticed the new Emerald seems modeled after the Eugene Weekly…..with a Chow like food section and gift guide etc. Soon you should include a article about other uses for regifted fruitcakes…a real investigative job.

here are 2 errors, but there are many more:
Content error: Bill Moos was not hired at WSU “just months” after his departure from UO. He left Oregon in 2006 and was hired at WSU in 2010.
Punctuation error: plural of alma mater is not “alma mater’s” — apostrophe fail.

Nice puff piece. I did learn from this article why Beltline was renamed for Randy Pape. Is there no one critical of this financial transaction who would talk to you? Since your audience is mostly from out of town, it would be honest to present a bit more background. Otherwise, it’s just marketing.

Phil and Penny Knight are incredible people. Lets not forget their generosity to OHSU Cancer and Cardiac units. In addition, a friend told me his golf game is extraordinary. Can not confirm, but know he was a very good athlete.
