Thanks to a tweet by @FiestaBowl, Oregon fans got an early look today at the threads the Ducks will don when they take the field Jan. 3 against Kansas State.

This year, Oregon has previously worn a white variation against Washington State, USC, Cal, Arizona State and Oregon State*.

Kansas State is the rare school with just one official color — Royal Purple.

They also wore white against the beavs! This particular white with green shoulders was only worn at Cal and WSU

      * – Good catch. We appended it. I knew Oregon only wore green feathers against Cal and Wazzu, that’s why I said “variation.”

      Thanks for the feedback.

Aren’t the Ducks the higher ranked team and therefore the Home Team? I’d have thought they would be in color rather than white. The last few BCS bowls have been kinda “blah” for the Ducks. Rose1 was white/green/white, NCG was gray/white/gray/neon, Rose1 was chrome/green/green.

      Who cares?
