In September of 2011, the University of Oregon received notice from the NCAA that it was looking at the program for possible violations committed by the UO football program. The University then hired the law firm Bond, Schoeneck & King for help with the investigations. After a 20-month period, the law firm billed the University to a tune of $154,716.38.
The Oregonian requested records, but the transcripts they received where “heavily redacted.”
EA Sports NCAA cover competition narrows. The Oregon Ducks have moved from the Sweet Sixteen into the Elite Eight for the EA Sports NCAA cover voting challenge. In the new round, the voting totals are zeroed. Fans can head to the EA Sports Facebook page to cast their vote. Here is the list of schools still in the competition:
