Terrance Pritchett, former linebacker for the Oregon Ducks, has been standing outside the Duck Store and other various businesses along 13th Avenue for the past three days offering hugs to passersby.
Pritchett explained he was giving free hugs because ”You have to look at life like you’re looking in a mirror.”
Calls about Pritchett were made to UOPD and EPD, who were on site today. UOPD talked to Pritchett in order for him to understand what he could and could not do when it comes to approaching passersby.
In Feb. of 2009, Pritchett and running back LeGarrette Blount were suspended indefinitely for “failure to fulfill team obligations.” Pritchett played three games in 2008 as a redshirt freshman, according to The Register-Guard.
