With three games left in the regular season, the Oregon men’s basketball team has its fate in hand. If Oregon wins at home against Oregon State and then two on the road at Colorado followed by Utah, the Ducks will be crowned the regular season Pac-12 conference champions and clinch the No.1 seed for the Pac-12 Tournament.

“I think if someone had told me before the season that you have a chance to win the conference title with two weeks to go in the season, and your point guard was going to miss nine games, I would’ve probably took it,” said Oregon head coach Dana Altman.

As long as the Ducks finish in the top four in the standings, they will clinch a first-round bye, skipping day one of the tournament. The Ducks can guarantee themselves this luxury with a win at home against the Beavers on Thursday.

A UCLA Bruins blog has a thorough breakdown of how things could shakeout before the tourney in Las Vegas kicks off on March 13.

The NFL combine is underway and the all-important times, lifts and exercises are being recorded. So far, former Texas wide receiver and USA Olympian Marquise Goodwin holds the fastest 40-yard dash time with an official mark of 4.27 seconds. The combine record is held by Tennessee Titans tailback Chris Johnson who ran a 4.23.

Kenjon Barner, represented Oregon well, placing high in the combine events all across the board.
