Photos: Record books rewritten on day two of Prefontaine Classic

The 40th annual Prefontaine Classic comes to a close as day two takes place at the historic Hayward Field. Day two of events took place in front of a sellout crowd of 13,158 fans packing into the stands, providing motivation to the athletes, and an electric atmosphere to watch the world’s greatest track and field athletes perform. The final day of the meet resulted in 12 world-leading times this year, 5 Prefontaine Classic meet records, as well as many season and personal bests in each event.
