A cyclist was hit by a Deschutes Brewery truck at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Alder Street around 11:20 a.m. Police and ambulance arrived quickly after pedestrian Kady Detemlea called to report the accident.
Detemlea said the cyclist flew off her bike, but seemed to be protected by her helmet.
She was, however, taken away by an ambulance.
The police confirmed the cyclist looked fine when taken on the ambulance.
