Jillian Alleyne is on the national radar.
The junior forward has been named to the preseason Wooden Award watch list as one of 30 student-athletes in the nation, the organization announced Monday.
The prestigious award is given to the top player in men’s and women’s basketball each year.
Based upon a preseason poll of national women’s college basketball media members, the watch list includes five Pac-12 players in Kelsey Plum (Washington), Amber Orrange (Stanford), Reshanda Gray (California) and Brittany Boyd (California).
The Wooden Award All American Team, consisting of the nation’s top five players, will be announced during the week of the NCAA Final Four (April 5-7).
The Wooden Award ceremony will take place on the weekend of April 10-12, 2015.
