The Oregon sand volleyball team took down Oregon State in the first sand volleyball Civil War match in history Tuesday night, 3-2.
It marks the second straight win for the Ducks, who conclude their season this weekend in Boise.
Frankie Shebby and Natalie Bookout Gonzalez won their fifth consecutive match in the No. 4 spot, taking down their opponents 21-14, 21-9 in two sets. They haven’t lost since being paired up for the Stanford Invitational.
Liz Brenner and Maggie Scott downed their OSU opponents at the No. 2 spot, 21-9, 21-10.
Oregon’s Kacey Nady and Chelsey Keoho lost to their Beaver opponents in the No. 1 spot while Roni LaPierre and Marine Hall-Poirier lost at No. 5 after going 3-1 in the Stanford Invitational.
Taylor Agost and Serena Werner also won in the No. 3 position, winning 21-13, 21-15.

The Ducks will be back in action in their final matches of the season on Friday in Boise, Idaho as Oregon squares off against Boise State at noon PT and No. 10 Arizona at 2 p.m. PT.
Oregon narrowly lost to Boise St. last year 3-2 on the final day of the short season.
