– Oregon men’s hoops landed a big-time transfer in Villanova’s Dylan Ennis on Wednesday, who will bring expertise to Dana Altman’s backcourt next season. He selected the Ducks over Baylor and Illinois, according to The Champaign Room. Tyson Alger of The Oregonian took a look at what the Ducks’ roster might look like next year.
– The annual Oregon track and field Twilight meet kicks off today. It’ll be a chance for the program to honors its seniors one last time and Ken Goe previews it with a few quick facts.
– Oregon football center Hroniss Grasu has signed with the Chicago Bears, announced on Friday. The contract goes for four years and he will reunite with former Duck Kyle Long on the Bears’ roster.
– Oregon softball’s Jenna Lilley was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association freshman of the year finalist on Thursday. Lilley is one of 10 student-athletes across the nation to make the final ballot. The field will decrease to three finalists on May 20 with the award given on May 26.
– In addition, Ducks’ pitcher Cheridan Hawkins is on the ballot for ASA/USA National player of the year, the association announced Wednesday. She’s one of 10 finalists and one of two in the Pac-12, which will be cut to three on May 20 with a winner announced May 26.
– Oregon women’s basketball forward Jillian Alleyne was selected by USA Basketball to tryout for the Pan American and World University teams on Wednesday. She is one of 10 who has previous USA Basketball experience when she tried out in 2013 for the USA U19 team.
– The Pac-12 Networks caught up with Oregon football’s Pharaoh Brown and found out he has the cutest therapy dog named Tiger. It’s a must-watch.
