Per GoDucks.com, Oregon has suspended Jordan Bell for harassing a UO Police Officer. According to the initial report, which head coach Dana Altman released Sunday, Bell interfered with the officer when he was about to give him ticket.
Bell released the following statement: “I want to apologize for my actions. I did not react properly to the parking citation and I am disappointed in my conduct. I have already apologized personally to the Parking Officer and want to also make a public apology. Representing the University of Oregon is a privilege and I will do better to live up to those standards.”
Bell will serve the one-game suspension today as the Ducks take on former coach Ernie Kent and Washington State at Matthew Knight Arena.
