All University of Oregon students studying abroad in France are safe, according to a statement posted Saturday by the Department of Romance Languages.
The department posted the following notice online:
“The Department of Romance Languages expresses its solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris. Terrorists makes us all victims by creating panic and havoc, but our solidarity, resilience, and demonstration of human love in the face of such cruelty will heal the wounds and plant the seeds for a brighter future.”
“At this time all UO students in France are accounted for and out of harm’s way.”
