– Oregon volleyball fell in both of its matches this weekend, with its most recent loss Sunday afternoon against undefeated No. 1 USC. The Ducks will now go back on the road to take on Utah and Colorado for the second time this season.
– Oregon women’s soccer fell to Arizona, 1-2, with Oregon’s only goal scored by freshman Kyra Fawcett. The loss was the Ducks’ fifth straight road defeat.
– While Oregon football had its bye week, offensive tackle Braden Eggert took a medical retirement, Rob Moseley announced in a tweet Sunday afternoon. The red shirt freshman played just two games with the Ducks. Next up, Oregon will head to Tempe for its game against Arizona State on Oct. 29.
– Oregon men’s tennis standout Daan Maasland advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Regional Championships this weekend. The Ducks will travel to Las Vegas next weekend for the Easley Memorial Tournament.
– Last weekend, Oregon cross country continued its strong season, with the men placing second and the women taking third at the Pre-Nationals Invitational.
– Oregon men’s basketball was chosen to finish fourth in a pres-season Pac-12 poll, with Arizona, Cal and Utah picked ahead of the Ducks.
