– After two days of being in just helmets, the Oregon football practices will ramp up in physicality today as they’ll don shoulder pads in addition to helmets. Although not in full gear, the ability to hit one another will give coaches a better understanding of who’s close to being game-ready. Starting Friday, the Ducks will be fully dressed.
– Jack Heffernan spoke with Oregon’s Bralon Addison and Devon Allen on their recent injuries and how far they’ve come to get back on the field. Included in the injury department are Tyler Johnstone and Taj Griffin, two players who should be ready to go for the start of the season.
– Whether it be Vernon Adams Jr or Jeff Lockie, both players are being presented with the opportunity of a lifetime, as written by Hayden Kim. Adams can begin practicing with the Ducks if he passes his final exam at Eastern Washington, Thursday.
– The Oregonian’s Andrew Greif sat down with former Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti and former first-round draft pick Curtis Conway to discuss the Ducks’ obstacles and potential upset games.
