The University has announced it will delay opening until 10 a.m. due to inclement weather.
Students with 8 a.m. finals are asked to email their professors for further instructions.
Lane Community College has also alerted its students that it is closed for the entire day.
Historically, the University does not close because it is a residential campus. However, in extreme conditions such as the snow today, it will utilized one of a several options for delaying or closing the campus.
UPDATE: The campus will now be closed until 1 p.m.
