The No. 1 California Golden Bears (41 – 2) continued their softball domination Friday night with a 8 – 1 victory of the No. 14 Oregon Ducks (31 – 10). The Golden Bears got off to a quick 1 – 0 lead after the first inning but the Ducks had tied it up following the end of the 3rd. The fourth inning proved to be the game-changing moment for the Ducks after they allowed 5 straight Golden Bear runs. The Ducks were never able to recover.
