“Titanic” — April 4
There is a reason Titanic is still tied for the record of most Academy Awards won by a single film (11, in case you were wondering). The classic love story is back on the big screen, and now it is in 3-D. So get to the theater and bring your tissues because it is definitely going to be just as tragic this time around.
“The Three Stooges” — April 13
Larry, Curly and Moe are bringing slapstick comedy back into fashion. While attempting to save the orphanage that raised them, the three accidentally get involved in a murder plot and also get to hang out with Snooki.
“The Avengers” — May 4
The international agency S.H.I.E.L.D. brings together Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Iron Man, Hawkeye and Black Widow to save the Earth from the evil Loki. Big names including Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson star in this Marvel-powered film.
Television
“Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23”
One of the only new series this Spring, the comedy will be airing on ABC after Modern Family starting April 11. The show follows a girl (Dreama Walker) who moves to New York City for her dream job, only to find her company is being shut down. She is forced to move in with a con-artist (Krysten Ritter), and an unlikely friendship ensues.
“Punk’d”
If you grew up watching Ashton Kutcher prank celebrities, then you should catch revived Punk’d. Ashton Kutcher remains as executive producer to the show, but this season features a different celebrity host each episode. Premiering with Justin Bieber hosting, the show’s confirmed celebrity hosts include Miley Cyrus, Hayden Panettiere and Bam Margera.
“House”
We may have said it before, but the cynical Dr. House deserves another shout out. The show is airing its last handful of episodes weekly until the series finale on May 21.
