The senior from Portland is the first player in Oregon history to earn the award, having finished the season with a 10-4 record and the third-lowest ERA in the conference (2.12). Before a loss last weekend against Oregon State, Keudell had won nine consecutive starts and played a major role in boosting Oregon to its current No. 5 overall seed in the NCAA regionals.
Joining Keudell on the All-Conference team is closer Jimmie Sherfy, who earned 17 saves on the year while striking out a team-best 84 batters and posting a 2.29 ERA. Sophomores Ryon Healy (.303 batting average, 36 RBI) and Aaron Jones (.294 batting average, 38 RBI) were honorable mentions. @@http://www.pac-12.org/portals/7/images/baseball/stats/2011-12/HTML/ore.htm@@
