Glenwood Restaurant is a local breakfast hotspot that is inexpensive and delicious. It’s super convenient — it’s on the corner of Alder and 13th Avenue. The best part about this restaurant is that breakfast is served all day long, so it doesn’t matter if your Saturday mornings start at 8 a.m. or 2 p.m.
Glenwood is totally affordable for college students, with most of its breakfast options priced around $6 to $9. Its large portions will be sure to keep your belly happy for hours. The hazelnut French toast and scrambles are highlights, and the array of mouth-watering omelets also stand out.
The restaurant has a homey and eclectic vibe. Many of its wooden chairs are mismatched, and its funky upstairs dining area makes for a unique experience. It also offers a fantastic outdoor patio area, which is perfect for an early breakfast in the spring sunshine.
The service is usually pretty fast, although on weekend mornings there tends to be a bit of a wait to be seated. Once you are finally seated and your breakfast is delivered you’ll realize it was totally worth it.
Glenwood is a great spot to take your friends or visiting family members, and its central location is perfect for both on-campus and off-campus students.
