Weekend to-dos:
— Make up for the hours you wasted studying on Tuesday night by throwing a Mardi Gras blowout this weekend. Be sure there are beads aplenty.
— It’s Civil War weekend, folks. Check out women’s basketball take on the Beavers Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena, then pile into the car and take a quick sojourn up to Corvallis to cheer on the men Sunday. Big weekend for the guys.
— It’s a month until spring break! Don’t have plans finalized yet? Get going this weekend, or your favorite vacation buddy will make other plans.
— Tired of the same old gin and tonic every weekend? Make yourself a Greg Oden: tears served in a broken glass. Maybe throw some gin in there as well.
— NBA All Star Game events on TNT all weekend. Though the contestants in the dunk contest Saturday lack star appeal, the actual game on Sunday is always fun to watch.
