The Oregonian is reporting that baseball coach George Horton, a former College World Series champion, has come to an agreement in regards to his new contract proposal after a two-month discussion with the University of Oregon. According to the report, the general conditions of the new contract will be similar to the previous contract and should be finalized by the end of the week.

As you have probably heard by now, Kenjon Barner recently broke the single-game record for most rushing yards in a game at Oregon as he racked up 321 yards and 5 touchdowns on 38 carries in a win over the USC Trojans, passing up his former teammate, LaMichael James.
