The University of Oregon women’s basketball team has been nothing short of spectacular in their first two games of the season. In their two exhibition games against Southern Oregon, where they won 118-74, and Corban, where they won 105-66, the Ducks simply dominated their opponents with great play from both ends of the court.
They will look to add onto their success today in their first regular season game against Saint Mary’s at home at 2 p.m. at Matt Knight Arena. This will be the Ducks first real test as they find out how they measure up to a much better team than their previous two opponents. These first couple of regular season games will prove vital before heading into the Pac-12 season, and the Ducks will need to use this time wisely as they will try and mesh as a team.
For fans that still have their ticket from last night’s volleyball game against Arizona, there will be $5 general admission tickets made available at the door. There will also be a giveaway of 100 re-usable water bottles as part of sustainability night at Matt Knight. There will also be pregame sign making and post game autographs from the team as well.
