Oregon softball won’t play their first game in Eugene on Saturday after all.
The Ducks, 2-0 so far this fall after beating Oregon State in a doubleheader earlier this month, were slated to host Corban University at Howe Field following Oregon football’s game against Colorado.
However drizzle and wet conditions forced officials to move the game to Tuesday at 6 p.m. Oregon is still scheduled to host Portland State on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Assuming all goes according to plan, the match with Corban will end Oregon’s fall exhibition schedule.
Oregon and Portland State both advanced to the NCAA Tournament last year, with the Ducks making their second College World Series.
Oregon softball’s match against Corban University bumped to Tuesday due to rain
