EDP received 15 calls for service and initiated 19 stops between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. Friday. During the course of the night, 24 people were arrested and taken to Lane County Jail on charges such as open containers and prohibited noise.
Official count of incidents starting Friday evening:
- 12 Open containers (Three University students)
- 20 Minors in possession (15 University students)
- 9 Prohibited noise (Five University students)
- 1 False info to an officer (University student)
- 9 Furnishing/allowing alcohol to minors (Six university students)
- 1 possession of less than one ounce of marijuana
- 7 other violations/crimes (2 University students)
Increased patrols will continue the rest of the weekend.
