According to promoters, “Railroad Revival Tour is an experience that transcends typical music tours or festivals and glorifies the historical romance between music and trains under the setting of the great American landscape.”
This year’s tour will be making stops in seven different cities: Duluth, Ga.; New Orleans, La.; Memphis, Tenn.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Old Town Spring, Texas; Tempe, Ariz.; San Pedro, Calif.; and Oakland, Calif. Seven cities in nine days — it’s quite the adventure.
The tour boasts a headline saying, “Railroad Revival Tour is as much a unique live music experience as it is an adventure.” The tour is one of many forward-thinking live music events that have been popping up around the country. The heightened focus on adventure and cultural experience is a sign of a popular desire to change the way music is experienced and enjoyed.
The adventure starts Oct. 20 in Duluth and ends Oct. 28 in Oakland. If you’re feeling adventurous, then you may have to make your own adventure and trek down to Northern California. One thing is certain; it’s going to be a rewarding investment.
