Senior offensive lineman Carson York has been working his way back from a serious knee injury sustained in the Rose Bowl and isn’t slated to start on Saturday. York says he’s not sidelined for any reason and looking forward to seeing the field against the Red Wolves.
“I plan on playing on Saturday, York said.” “(The knee) feels good, it’s a process and I’m happy with where I’m at.”
The starting lineup for Saturday includes redshirt-freshman Tyler Johnstone and the rotation will feature underclassmen who haven’t seen game action thus far in their Oregon careers. York said he’s looking forward to seeing what they can do against new competition and that he’s confident in their abilities.
“Tyler’s one of those guys,” York said. “Everything he does is 400% and as fast as he possibly can.”
“I’m excited to see with some of the guys on our offensive line that have only been playing against our guys, so for those guys like Tyler and Kyle to see other guys and see how they handle that stuff.”
