Coming off a closely matched first half, Oregon is tied with Wisconsin 28 – 28 in a record-making first half of the 2012 Rose Bowl. Oregon running back De’Anthony Thomas’ 91 yard touchdown was the longest run in Rose Bowl history and Wisconsin touchback Montee Ball tied Barry Sanders’ single-season touchdown record with his second touchdown of the game, not to mention the fact that both teams contributed to the highest scoring first half of any Rose Bowl game.
