People have been coming up with ways to make USB drives more attractive and potentially wearable for quite some time. But, from what you can gather in a quick Google image search, many of these USB-as-fashion items seem to overuse the rhinestones and are a bit too cutesy.
Los Angeles-based designer Isaac Appiah has created a line of USB accessories that are sleek and non-intrusive. Designed for his line Vilnvixn, these bracelets and necklaces use simple shapes and grayscale colors to create utilitarian jewelry that is adaptable to most any outfit.
A personal favorite is the necklace, a well-structured piece that is reminiscent of the metal and geometric jewelry you see trending these days. From the picture, you could easily mistake the shapes for well-cut stone polygons, but alas, the top portion slides out to reveal a USB drive.
