Oregon could have gone scoreless in the second half and still came away with the win.
By halftime the Ducks led Houston Baptist 51-30, and they would go on to win 91-50 on Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena to improve to 10-2 on the year with just one game remaining on their non-conference schedule.
Oregon shot nearly 50 percent from the field and was lethal from beyond the arc, shooting 56.3 percent as a team from deep. The Ducks’ second-best offensive output of the year came thanks to very balanced scoring with four players in double figures and three more with at least eight points.
