The man responsible for founding McAfee, Inc. has been apprehended by Guatemalan authorities for entering the country illegally. John McAfee, who has been on the run since becoming a person of interest in a murder case in Belize, founded the firm that would go on to create McAfee, the popular security, anti-virus and firewall software. After he was apprehended, he apparently suffered multiple small heart attacks and is currently being treated in Guatemala. He has not been part of his namesake company in over 20 years.
The alternative digital currency, Bitcoins, has gained more legitimacy this week: Bitcoin Central, a popular Bitcoin exchange, has “secured approval from regulators to operate as a bank under French law.”

In slightly less dystopian news, the soundtrack for the video game “Journey” has been nominated for a Grammy. Competing in the “Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media” category against composing greats like John Williams, Ludovic Bource, Hans Zimmer, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross and Howard Shore, this marks the first time a video game soundtrack has been nominated for a Grammy.
