Oregon running back Kenjon Barner was named to the Football Writers Association of America All-America team.
Barner was a finalist for the Doak Walker award and was named to four of the five All-America teams used by the NCAA to determine consensus All-Americans. Barner is the fifth Duck to be named a consensus All-American, joining teammate and best friend LaMichael James who earned that distinction twice.
While the team is dominated by athletes from the SEC, two others from Pac-12 schools were also honored, with UCLA tailback Jonathan Franklin and USC wideout Marqise Lee also named FWAA All-Americans.
