The already deep list of Oregon quarterbacks grew even longer on Thursday when junior college quarterback Jeremiah Masoli signed a financial aid agreement to attend the University.
Masoli joins fellow Oregon quarterbacks Cade Cooper, Nate Costa, Justin Roper, Chris Harper, Cody Kempt and Darron Thomas.
Masoli comes to Eugene from the City College of San Francisco. The 6-foot, 205-pound Masoli led San Francisco to a junior college national title while throwing for 3,592 yards and 30 touchdowns with just five interceptions. He also ran for 448 yards and 11 touchdowns.
In high school, Masoli went to Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif. for three years before going to St. Louis High in Hawaii for his senior season.
“I’m real happy for him. Our whole staff here is happy for him really,” CCSF coach George Rush told JCFootball.com. “He got what he deserved, what he came here for, which is an opportunity at the next level.”
