This weekend, the Student Recreation Center’s rock wall will host what is possibly the only chance University students will ever have to combine rock climbing, blindfolds and Halloween costumes.
Every week, the rock wall is open for a total of 36 hours of recreational climbing. Saturday morning at the seventh annual Vertical Circus Climbing Competition, everyone is invited to try climbing with one arm; while wearing a blindfold; while tied to someone else; or while wearing a costume. Prizes will be awarded to the people who climb fastest, as well as the people wearing the best costumes.
Vertical Circus will start at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
