Incident: Robbery Location: 846 W. 6th Ave., Side Pocket Tavern When: Friday, Nov. 7 Time: 7:58 p.m. What: A suspect armed with a handgun wearing a Darth Vader mask and a white shirt with black horizontal stripes approached a bartender and demanded cash. The bartender refused to give the suspect the money, and went inside an office to call police. The suspect then went into the main area of the bar, still holding his handgun, and ordered everyone in the bar to get onto the floor. After the people in the bar refused to lay on the ground, the suspect fired several shots into the floor, and then fled the scene on foot.
Incident: Robbery Location: 2795 Willamette St., Chevron gas station When: Saturday, Nov. 8 Time: 6:28 a.m. What: Suspect armed with a small caliber handgun ordered the attendant to lay on the floor, and took the money out of the register. The attendant was not injured in the incident. Officers and a K-9 unit responded, but did not locate the suspect.
Incident: Elude by vehicle, elude by foot, reckless driving, interfering with police, possession of meth, possession of heroin Suspect: Tiffany Marie Hill Age: 20 Location: West 11th Avenue and Willamette Street When: Saturday, Nov. 8 Time: 3:06 a.m. What: An officer attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at a high speed along West 11th Avenue, but it eluded the officer. The suspect attempted to turn her vehicle to the right, but drove through some hedges and stopped just short of the drive-up menu at TCBY, according to an EPD news release. Hill got out of her car and attempted to run from the officer, and was taken into custody outside a DMV office, the release said.
