Athena Partners and the students of American Marketing Association are joining together to market a new product in which 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward breast cancer research.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Athena Partners is selling a brand new line of premium chocolates at the Eugene Costco. Athena Partners founder Trish May is a breast cancer survivor and has devoted her life and company to breast cancer research and education. The company is a not-for-profit corporation that has donated more than $150,000 towards leading cancer research.
The promotion kicks off today at Costco on 2828 Chad Drive. AMA students will be at Costco to hand out samples and talk about the cause. And on campus, students will be wearing pink shirts and attire in front of the Lillis Business Center at 9:30 a.m. to promote the launching of the new product and their support in the fight against breast cancer.
Athena products benefit the three million women in the United States living with a form of women’s cancer, and approximately 250,000 women will be diagnosed with some form of breast cancer this year.
