After the second round of play at the Husky Invitational in Bremerton, Wash., the Ducks are currently in fourth place with a score of 14 over par. It took a great day from sophomore Jack Dukeminier, who individually stands tied for ninth place (1 over) after shooting a 69 Monday. The No. 14 Huskies are leading the match with a score of 11 under par, a 25-stroke lead. No. 20 California is the only other team under par, with a team score of four under, with the next closest team at nine over.
Freshman Eugene Wong of Oregon sits in a tie for 14th place with a three-over par after shooting just one over on the second day.
The individuals who have stood out are Washington’s Chris Killmer with a five-under par, and California’s Michael Jensen with a four-under par. The two will have 18 more holes to compete for the individual title at the tournament.
The tournament’s final round is today.
