Students can hear the results of a new local report documenting the practices of campus credit card marketers at 10 a.m. today at the corner of 13th Avenue and University Street. The report, “The Credit Card Trap,” identifies gimmicks marketers use to sign up new customers and the high interest rates they charge. The report also offers advice to students and administrators on how to avoid debt and high service charges.
