LCC flight school investigated
The Lane Community College Flight Technology School was one of the several flight schools in the United States to be inspected by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
Harvey Birdseye, the department chairman for LCC’s flight school, said the FBI conducted a thorough investigation and the school received “a clean bill of health.”
“The FBI looked at the last six years of our files and determined that we were running a clean operation,” Birdseye said. “We are now on a full flight schedule without restrictions.”
FBI Spokeswoman Beth Anne Steele said she could make no comment on any investigations related to the terrorists attacks.
