The Oregon women’s golf team posted a Pacific-10 Championship high of 31-over-par for the second round. Senior Erin Andrews moved up two spots into a tie for 22nd.
Andrews matched her first-round 4-over-par in the second round to post the Ducks’ best round Tuesday.
Freshman Cathryn Bristow continued to struggle and is one of four Ducks in double digits over par.
Arizona State lost its four-stroke lead Tuesday after posting an 11-over-par in the second round. UCLA shot 1-under-par to match the Sun Devils’ first round 287.
UCLA is riding the clubs of Amie Cochran and Tiffany Joh, who are 3 under and 1 under par, respectively. The Bruins have four of its five golfers in the top 15.
Individually, Cochran’s 3 under par leads the field. Washington’s Paige Mackenzie shot 1-under for the second round in a row and is second going into today’s final round.
Arizona’s Sommer Scholl shot a hole in one on the 159-yard par-3 17th hole.
The Ducks, who are 18 shots behind ninth place Washington State, will finish its final round today.
