Four candidates and one representative campaigning for Oregon governor will appear at a gubernatorial forum and question-and-answer session today in 150 Columbia from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Democrats Jim Hill and Peter Sorenson, Independent Ben Westlund, Pacific Green candidate Joe Keating, and a representative for Democratic incumbent Governor Ted Kulongoski will each have six minutes to talk about topics of their choice. After a five minute break, candidates will answer questions from audience members. Jerry Medler, a University emeritus political science professor, will serve as moderator.
The event is sponsored by the Pi Sigma Alpha national honor society and is free and open to the public.
