Campus Crusade for Christ and Operation Mobilization are sponsoring an event designed to unite University students with 48 hours of prayer.
The event started Tuesday night and continues through Thursday at 7 p.m. Participants sign up for one-hour slots and may pray in the EMU Century Room C, where volunteers have put together colors, sounds and smells to facilitate a prayer journey, said Brett Butcher, a staff member at the Campus Crusade for Christ and an event organizer.
The event is meant to unify the various Christian campus ministries, Butcher said.
A closing event will take place on Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Alpha Omega House, at 1332 Kincaid St.
Those interested in taking part in the 48 hours of prayer may contact Butcher at [email protected] or 541-868-4078. They may also contact event organizer Andrea Sandau at [email protected].
