For the 38th spring in a row, downtown Eugene will be lined with vendors and artisans selling original crafts and hot and cold foods at the Saturday Market, starting this weekend on April 7.
This year’s opening day will feature young musicians and local folk artists.
Hokoyo, a student group from the Kutsinhira Marimba Center, will play traditional Zimbabwean music in the afternoon. The Eugene Saturday Market is the oldest organized outdoor venue for selling goods in the country. Every week from now until mid November, the park blocks between 8th and Oak Street will be full of color, dance, music and food.
