Perhaps the ODE should rethink the title of its essay, “Media reek of classism in drug inquiries” to “Media reeks of Racism in General.”
I had never realized how “white” the media coverage in the U.S. was until I left the country. When I came back to the U.S. after 10 years, I started noticing exactly what you’re saying and more… Only pretty blond white girls get “abduction” coverage. How come there are never any black people in that coffee shop on Friends?
