The Swedish blog, which is written in English, covers everything that thumps, and has the credibility to get some excellent exclusive tracks and mixtapes. Although a lot of the things you’ll find on here are dance tracks with a European feel, these Swedes also have a thing for American rap music, and have sporadic coverage of up-and-comers and game-hardened vets.

Even non-voyeurs can find the mystery, intrigue and innate human-ness in people’s secrets, anonymously sent to PostSecret on postcards. Browsing through each week’s postings drums up feelings of sadness, humor and disgust, and you’re likely to find a secret at some point that you can associate with.

Said the Gramophone is an MP3 blog dealing primarily with indie rock and pop acts, and as an MP3 blog it does fine. The real reason to read, though, is the copy that comes along with each track. Pop culture blogs are all the rage these days, thanks to the likes of Perez Hilton. Pink is the New Blog sets itself apart, however, by being less cruel than Perez Hilton.
