A Eugene art gallery is displaying the art of former UO professor LaVerne Krause.
Until August 25, the Karin Clarke Gallery, located at 760 Willamette St., will feature various works from Krause, a former UO professor for whom the LaVerne Krause Gallery in Lawrence Hall is named.
Krause graduated from the University. She later returned as a visiting professor and founded the University’s printing program. She taught art at the University for 20 years, retiring in 1986. She died a year later.
A reception for the exhibit, titled “A Romantic Vision,” will be held at the Karin Clarke Gallery from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today.
