Fans of Oregon-based brewer Rogue Ales have another place to satisfy their craving for beer. Rogue has opened a new “embassy” in Astoria.
The new “embassy” is located on the Columbia River at Pier 39 and, just like Rogue’s other “embassies,” offers a wide array of porters, ales, stouts, lagers, spirits and wine, as well as a family-friendly restaurant.
Rogue opened its first brewery in Ashland in 1988 and a second brewery in Newport in 1989. The Newport brewery is now Rogue’s main brewery, and it offers brewery tours and dining. Rogue also has a root beer facility in Eugene, a rum distillery in Portland and a gin distillery at its main brewery in Newport.
