Oregon Athletic Director Pat Kilkenny will speak about the planning process for the new basketball arena at a presentation organized by the Eugene City Club Friday. At a meeting held at the Downtown Athletic Club (999 Willamette St.) and open to the public, Kilkenny will discuss the challenge of raising money for the project, how the new arena will fit in the local and campus communities, and also his transition from the world of business to the University’s athletic department.
The event is scheduled to start at 11:50 a.m.
