Time: 10:05 a.m.
What: A man in his 20s was reported inside a three-car garage because the caller believed he was “rifling through property.” The man said he was there to do laundry, but the location was not a laundry facility.
Incident: Loud noise
Location: 845 W 10th Ave., Monroe Park
When: Friday, March 13
Time: 10:38 p.m.
What: A caller complained of loud noises coming from near the play structure at Monroe Park. The caller reported that seven or eight people were yelling and playing bongo drums.
Incident: Disorderly subject
Location: Blair Boulevard and West 4th Avenue, Sam Bonds Garage
When: Saturday, March 14
Time: 7:54 p.m.
What: A 30- to 40-year-old man was seen with a sledgehammer “demolishing bikes” at Sam Bonds Garage. The caller reported that a second man was taking pictures of the destruction. Further police investigation revealed that the suspect was the victim of a theft reported earlier in the evening, and he found his own stolen bike locked up at the same location.
